Thank you for your interest in investing in a print!
My photographs are printed by Husom & Rose Photographics in Hager City, Wisconsin.
David Husom works closely with me throughout the printing process, to ensure prints that meet our high standards.
The ink used is pigment ink. Pigments – unlike dye – are naturally UV-resistant and considered archival.
The pigments embed themselves into the fibers of the paper, and the carrier liquid evaporates.
This results in a smear-resistant print that works excellently on matte paper.
The paper is 100% cotton rag. Rag fibers are longer fibers compared to cotton linters, and provide extra strength.
Cotton rag paper has a smooth matte finish, is fade-resistant, and considered archival.
